As the Coordinator you arrange and contribute to all the elements of a complex work schedule. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Construction Manager’s schedule priorities of meetings, presentations, appointments and deadlines
  • Be the initial contact for senior management, clients, team members and associations
  • Handle travel arrangements, including hotels, car rentals and all hosting functions
  • Manage the CM’s calendar to accurately accommodate changes and additions
  • Complete presentations including PowerPoint and reports
  • Follow Insurance compliance while organizing internal events and meetings
  • Accurately manage expense reports 
  • Responsible for CM’s electronic and manual files and incoming mail
  • Handles first contact for meeting requests from team members, associations and requests for sponsorships
  • Prepares a calendar of team members holidays and absences
  • Directs agenda for team meeting including recording and documenting minutes and actions requested
  • Liaise with Accounting Dept as required


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Three or more years experience with an Insurance Broker
  2. A General Insurance License Level 2
  3. Post secondary education or equivalent
  4. Extensive experience with MSWord package including Excel and PowerPoint
  5. Organized and detail oriented
  6. Discreet with confidential information
  7. Well developed problem solving skills
  8. Above average communication skills including written abilities
  9. Work well in a team oriented team culture
  10. Solutions based thinker
